About FPS Tester

We got tired of downloading random apps just to check if a monitor was actually running at 144Hz or if a mouse was polling at the rate it claimed. Every tool we found was either behind a signup wall or bundled with stuff we didn't need. So we made our own.

The short version

FPS Tester is a collection of browser-based tools for checking your display and input hardware. Open a page, get your result, close the tab. That's it.

What you can do here

  • FPS Test - See your real-time frames per second in the browser.
  • Refresh Rate Test - Check if your monitor is actually hitting the Hz it claims.
  • Screen Size - Resolution, viewport, DPR, and other display details.
  • Mouse Polling Rate - How often your mouse reports its position.
  • Reaction Time Test - Click five targets as fast as you can.
  • Dead Pixel Test - Fullscreen solid colors to spot defective pixels.
  • Pixel Fixer - Rapid color cycling to try unsticking stuck pixels.

How it works

Everything runs in your browser. We don't collect test results, we don't track your hardware, and there's nothing to install. Your data stays on your device.

He created FPS Tester to offer practical browser-based tools that run instantly without downloads.
